The spirit of Christmas brings about all sorts of neighbourhood competition when it’s time for the outdoor lights.
But here at Nova, we think it’s probably time to give up – because we’re pretty sure this is the coolest Christmas lights display we have ever seen!
Murt Toohey from Borrisokane, Co. Tipperary has gone the extra mile this year putting together a festive tractor and trailer display and all in aid of a good cause too!
In putting the display together, Murt decided it would be a good idea to raise funds for local boy, Billy Goulding, in the process who was struck down with a virus a number of years ago which left him paralysed from the chin down, as he knows Billy is a huge tractor fan.
Murt even claimed: “We were running out of things to put lights on!” until another local man gave a loan of his trailer.
The Toohey’s will have a donation box at the tractor where people can donate or you can visit Billy’s GoFundMe here.
Could you outdo Murt Toohey’s creation?
That time of year again and decorations are up Happy Christmas everyone. This year we’re trying to raise a few quid for a local young man Billy Goulding he like us is a big tractor fan so if you have a few euro to spare we’ll have a donation box on the wall. Billy also has a go fund me page if anyone would like to donate there. https://www.gofundme.com/2hpbsdw We’d appreciate it. We were running out of things to put lights on so thanks to Riche Hogan for loan of the trailer. Feel free if ye come to see the display to stop call in and take photos with it.
