Maroon 5 bassist and founding member Mickey Madden, was arrested last Saturday on felony intimate partner violence charges in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to Page Six that Madden was charged with a wilful infliction of “a traumatic injury on a spouse or cohabitant”, which is a felony charge in California.
The Maroon 5 bassist is currently free after posting a $50,000 bail.
A representative for Maroon 5 told Page Six: “We are deeply devastated by this disappointing news.
As we learn more, we are looking at this very seriously. For now, we are allowing all of the individuals involved the space to work things through.”
