Metallica Donated €35,000 To Dublin’s Capuchin Day Centre For The Homeless

Before rocking the foundations of Slane Castle, Metallica made a super generous donation to one of Dublin’s homeless centres.

During rehearsals at the venue, they donated €35,000 to the Capuchin Day Centre.

The metal legends made the announcement on their ‘All Within My Hands Foundation’ Instagram account and they shared a photo of the band holding the cheque. On the post the metallers said:

“This leg of Metallica’s World Wired Tour starts with a special bonus donation during rehearsal to the Capuchin Day Centre for Homeless People where they welcome people in need of food aid who have no home or are socially excluded and provide care with respect and dignity.”
