Guitarist joins his former band onstage in LA.
Mick Taylor joined The Rolling Stones for the 7th stop on their “50 & Counting” world tour.
Taylor originally joined the Stones in 1969 as a replacement for Brian Jones.
His onstage debut as a Stone, aged just 20 years old, was the free Hyde Park
concert on July 5, 1969. Mick played on some of the most popular
Stones albums during his tenure with the group, which he left in 1974.
The Stones’ first show this Spring without an outside guest, Mick played a total of four songs with the group – “Midnight Rambler”, “Sway”, “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking” and the show’s final encore “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”.
The next show for the band will be this Saturday in Toronto Canada.
