The first teaser from the upcoming thriller series, Ripley, starring Andrew Scott, has been released.
Ripley, inspired by the classic 1999 film The Talented Mr Ripley, will also be based on the bestselling Tom Ripley novels from Patricia Highsmith.
This series will see Andrew Scott star as the main character Tom Ripley, and is hired by a wealthy industrialist to travel from New York to Italy, in order to convince the man’s dilettante son Dickie Greenleaf to come home.
In accepting this job, Ripley becomes embroiled in a life of deceit, fraud, and muder.
The series will also see Dakota Fanning star alongside Scott, as Dickie Greenleaf’s girlfriend, who is suspicious of Ripley’s motives.
Ripley will launch on Netflix on 4 April. Check out the trailer for yourselves below.
