New McDonald’s Personalised Drive-Thru Menu

McDonald’s plans to upgrade its menu presentation for its drive-thru restaurants.

The fast food chain has bought out start-up company Dynamic Yield, which creates what’s been described as ‘personalised online experiences’.

It plans to use the technology to tailor it’s drive-thru menus to things like the weather, trending menu items and current restaurant traffic.

It will be rolled out in it’s American outlets this year, before being expanded to its international restaurants.
