Gardaí Arrest Man Who's Detained For Murder Of Vinny Ryan

A 35 year old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Vincent Ryan in Dublin. He was shot dead in Finglas two years ago.

25 year old Vincent or Vinny Ryan was shot dead as he sat in a car on McKee Road in Finglas on the 29th of February 2016.

A garda spokesman said ... 'Gardai investigating the murder of Vincent Ryan in Finglas on February 28, 2016 have arrested a male in 30s.

Gardai from the Finglas Detective Unit arrested the man in West Dublin this afternoon.''

This afternoon a 35 year old man appeared before the Dublin District Court charged with his murder.

Detective Sergeant Gavin Ross told the court that Paul O’Beirne of Colepark Drive in Ballyfermot was cautioned and charged with his murder this afternoon at Finglas Garda Station.

The Judge was told he replied ‘nothing got to do with me at all’.

The accused who didn’t speak during the brief hearing was remanded in custody to appear via video link before Cloverhill District Court on Friday.
