1. A Former Taoiseach is warning that people won't stop buying abortion pills online, if we legalise terminations. John Bruton says Ireland should be proud that we protect the right to life and shouldn't remove it from our constitution. He's publicly called for a 'No' vote this summer in the referendum on repealing the 8th Amendment. Pro-choice campaigners claim it could reduce the number of women ordering abortion pills over the Internet.

2. The Taoiseach will today mark the 20th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement as he continues his week-long St Patrick's Day visit to the US. Before that Leo Varadkar is due to give a talk about the relationship between the EU and the United States.

3. It looks like the cold snap could return for St Patrick's weekend. Met Eireann is forecasting a significant drop in temperature, with some snow showers for Saturday and Sunday. However it's not predicted to be as bad as Storm Emma earlier this month, which brought the worst weather Ireland has seen in over three decades.

4. A campaign aimed at educating young people about problem gambling has been launched. Throughout the month of March, youth information website spunout.ie aims to highlight the signs and impact of the issue. It comes as the Cheltenham racing festival gets underway in the UK this afternoon.

5. Sevilla have sent David De Gea - a mischievous request ahead of tonight's Champions League last 16 second leg at Old Trafford. The Manchester United goalkeeper had a brilliant performance during last month's nil -nil draw in Spain. Sevilla have taken to social media, to ask the Spain international to keep his best stuff for the World Cup. Kick off at Old Trafford is at 7.45

6. With just four days to go until the country's biggest national holiday, a war of words has broken out over what it is we're celebrating. There's a spilt between those who call it 'Paddy's Day' and the purists who're sticking to the full title of 'St Patrick's Day'.
