Noel Gallagher & Paul Weller Work Together

Noel Gallagher & Paul Weller appear to have worked on a new track together. The two are said to have worked on the new Monkees album that was recently announced.

Among those that are said to have written for the new album include Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo & Ben Gibbard from Death Cab For Cutie. Now it appears that even bigger names have penned songs for the album.

According to recent reports from MusicNews.com, Noel Gallagher and Paul Weller have written a yet unnamed song for the new Monkees album Good Times.

The names of the other songs written for the album have been announced however.The Rivers Cuomo track will reportedly be called ‘She Makes Me Laugh’, while Ben Gibbard has written a song called ‘Me & Magdalena’.

Other people that have written songs for the album include legendary songwriter Neil Diamond & Zach Rogue from indie band Rogue Waves.

The producer for the new album is Adam Schlesinger from Fountains of Wayne. Speaking about working with Schlesinger, the Monkees Micky Dolenz said “This is one of the most exciting Monkees projects I’ve been involved in for decades!” adding that “Working with Adam Schlesinger has been a pure delight and the opportunity to sing a duet with my old buddy, Harry Nilsson, is just beyond cool!”
