A murder investigation is underway after a gangland-style shooting in north co. Dublin last night.
One man died outside a gym in Swords – while another is in a serious condition in hospital.
The two men were targetted as they left Gym Plus on Applewood Chase in Swords at around 7:30 last night.
One – in his early 20s – was shot a number of times in the head and chest and died at the scene.
The second man – who’s in his mid-20s – was also shot a number of times and is in a serious condition at Beaumont Hospital.
The scene remains sealed off this morning and Gardai are appealing for anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
Investigators are also examining CCTV from the area to try and identify those behind the attack.
