The trailer for ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is now online.
Anticipation is growing after ‘Infinity War’ became the highest grossing film of 2018.
Just as with Infinity War, the film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo in what is the fourth Avengers film release.
Conceived as a direct sequel and filmed at the same time as, Avengers: Infinity War, the film is due to pick up at the stunning finish of its predecessor, as supervillain Thanos appears to have wiped out half of all life after activating the Infinity Gauntlet.
The tagline for the sequel Endgame, is, “Part of the journey is the end.” The title, Endgame, is a reference to Doctor Strange’s (Benedict Cumberbatch) line to Tony Stark, “We’re in the endgame” now in Infinity War.
“Endgame” also calls back to Stark’s line from Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015 “That up there? That’s the endgame.”
It is due for release here on 26th of April, and in the US on 3rd of May.
