Only Fools and Horses actor Patrick Murray has revealed that his cancer has returned.

The actor who is best known for his role as Mickey Pearce in the popular British sitcom Only Fools and Horses, confirmed that his lung cancer had returned via social media.

Murray had previously been diagnosis with lung cancer back in January 2022, where he revealed that he had undergone an operation to remove a cancerous lung, while endorsing an advert to encourage people to get any signs of discomfort checked by a doctor.

“Naturally I wanted to keep my own health problems private, but failing to fully endorse this ad would be selfish”, Murray wrote. “Thanks to my ultrascan I have a fighting chance”.

He also added, “It showed my organs needed further investigation and tumours were spotted. This led to a pet scan which covers a much larger area. To my wonderful surprise these lesions were not cancerous but the scan did find an EARLY stage cancerous tumour in my lung”.

He also called on people to not “ignore it if the problem persists”.
