Photos: Green Day’s Bassist Sells Amazing Home For €5.8 Million

Mike Dirnt, the bassist for punk-rockers Green Day, has sold his humble abode in Piedmont, Calif for 5.8 million euro.

According to UCR, he made $775,000 (688,000 euro) more than he paid for it in 2016.
The Los Angeles Times reports that it’s the fourth house he’s sold in just the last three years.

According to the estate agents, BHG Highland Partners who handed the sale, it’s a property with: “Spectacular views, privacy, a three-quarter-acre lot, and comfortable yet grand spaces set this home apart. It’s difficult to find this sought-after combination in a home of this caliber.”

The house comprises five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms in 6,712 square feet. The listing also describes it as a “stunning example of early California Mediterranean architecture.”
