Planning Permission Sought

Planning permission is being sought for almost 650 housing units in Dublin.

It includes three separate applications on the southside of the city.

Each of the proposals has been lodged with An Bord Pleanála under the Strategic Housing Development scheme – the fast-track mechanism that sees decisions made within 16 weeks.

There are plans for 296 apartments in Citywest Shopping Centre in Fortunestown.

Crekav Trading GP plans to build 253 apartments in the Upper Kilmacud Road in Dundrum.

Lulani Dalguise is looking to construct 100 residents units in the Monkstown.

The planning board is due to decide whether to grant permission for the developments by September.
