Radio Nova has increased its daily audience by 8% *, giving the station its latest major boost in the competitive Dublin marketplace. The broadcaster has surged ahead once again in the latest JNLR radio ratings, its sixth consecutive increase since its launch in 2012. The survey covers the last 12 months of broadcasting for the station. The report also shows that Nova has substantially increased its listenership in key demographics including 25-44s, 15-34s and housekeepers, as well as the number of women listening to the station.

“This is a very exciting set of results for us. Not only have we consolidated our position as by far the fastest growing radio station in the Dublin area, we have continued to increase our appeal to listeners in our core target of 25-54, adding thousands of new listeners to our base”, said CEO Kevin Branigan. He further points to major daily gains in 35-44s (+40%), Housekeepers (+18%), 25-44s (+18%) and 15-34s (+8%) as evidence that the station’s steady growth continues unabated.

“Nova offers a unique mix of some of the best guitar songs every made and well-known on-air personalities – and, judging from these latest figures, we are clearly striking a chord with listeners”, said Branigan.

The station is the only Dublin operator licenced to cover Dublin and the commuter belt, including parts of Wicklow, Kildare and Meath.
