Priscilla Presley will speak about "a life shaped by fame, love, and the search for her own identity" at Dublin's National Concert Hall on October 1.
The American businesswoman and actress will talk about this at Life After Elvis: An Audience With Priscilla Presley at the Dublin venue, where she will draw from her forthcoming memoir, Softly As I Leave You'.
The show's promoters have said that Priscilla will talk about "a life shaped by fame, love, and the search for her own identity".
"From the outside, life at Graceland looked like a gilded, glamorous, and untouchable dream. But behind closed doors, Priscilla was navigating a world that left little room for her own identity", the promoters added. "Married at 21 and surrounded by Elvis’s ever-present entourage, she began to realise that the only way to survive was to step away from a life the world envied".
"In this deeply personal conversation drawing from her forthcoming memoir Softly, As I Leave You, Priscilla will reflect on what it took to leave, what she lost in the process, and that she ultimately found: strength, purpose, and a life beyond the legend".
On the night, Priscilla will talk about her relationship with ex husband Elvis, including their divorce, life as a single parent, and how she reinvented herself following Elvis' death.
Having first met Elvis when she was 14 years old, the pair married seven years later when Priscilla was 21 in 1967, before divorcing in 1973. They had one child, the late Lisa Marie Presley, who passed away in 2023.
