A rare demo of The Beatles first single Love Me Do that could be worth more than €23,000 has been dropped into a British Heart Foundation charity shop.

The collector’s item was dropped into the shop in a bag with 25 records.

Only 250 copies of the demo were ever made; one copy sold for more than €9000.

But experts say that the version left into the shop in West Sussex could make three times as much if auctioned on eBay.
