Following the conclusion of their tour of North America, Guns ‘N’ Roses’ frontman Axl Rose gave thanks to everyone who came along. Sending a message via the band’s social media accounts, the singer thanked fans for coming to their shows, and giving special praise to the crew workers.

Rose gave a special thanks to everyone for working with them “to help protect your safety, the safety of each other, the safety of our crew and the venues’ crews, following our COVID protocol. These are stressful times (which is an understatement) and your cooperation and participation is greatly appreciated and not taken for granted.

We didn’t take going into this tour lightly and there were huge industry considerations (and reasonings) to take into account in taking on such an endeavour and we truly want to thank everyone that came out or was involved in any way for making it great and that things ran as smoothly as they did!

Rose also gave thanks to “Wolfie” Van Halen, and his band Mammoth WVH, “for a great run” of shows. Even with food poisoning, Axl and the band managed to complete their route without cancelations, although Mammoth had to cancel a handful of performances due to a member contracting COVID-19.

Through their NA tour, Guns ‘N’ Roses began a new chapter, debuting two newly released tracks, Absurd, and Hard Skool. With both tracks releasing this year on digital and streaming services, they represent the first tracks to be released by the band to feature Slash and Duff McKagan since their ‘94 cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Sympathy for the Devil.

Next year, Rose and co are also due to release a new EP, titled Hard Skool, in 2022. Guns ‘N’ Roses are due to perform around Europe in June of next year and you can read a full list of details on the band’s website.
