The roundabout is in Jaworzno Poland and it is to be named in honour of the late Slayer guitarist, and co founder, Jeff Hanneman.
The roundabout will be known as Jeff Hanneman’s Circle Pit. However the name will not be permanent. It will be for a duration of 12 months.
A company called Art-Com Ltd (a company run by Slayer worshipers) won a charity auction to rename, and symbolically own the roundabout for 12 months. It was them that decided to name the roundabout after the late Slayer guitarist who who passed away on May 2, 2013 at the age of 49 from liver cirrhosis.
