Taylor Hawkins and Dave Grohl do the honours!

Rush fans the world over can rejoice, as the band have now been (FINALLY) inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The band were inducted by Taylor Hawkins and Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters fame, who later took to the stage wearing kimonos to perform “2112” (yes, we’re as confused as you are).

Hawkins took to the stage to induct Rush to the sound of whooping and yelling fans. “When the fuck did Rush become cool?!” Grohl joked in his speech to huge cheers.

“Who let the fucking drummer write the lyrics?! Rush did. Makes no sense!” said Hawkins. “Rush broke all the rules, but isn’t that what rock and roll’s all about!”

Rush performed “Tom Sawyer” and “The Spirit of Radio”, before all bands in the class of 13 joined together to play “Crossroads”.
