Ryanair To Release List Of Strike-Affected Flights On Monday

Ryanair may hire planes and draft in European crews to staff flights impacted by next week’s strike.

Pilots at Cork, Shannon and Dublin Airports are planning to walk off the job next Wednesday.

Around 30% of Ryanair’s Irish pilots are to strike five days before Christmas in the row over negotiating rights.

The airline will be giving passengers just two days notice, when it publishes a list of affected flights on Monday.

According to reports, Ryanair may draft in crew from its European bases to cover the the routes impacted.

Bosses are also believed to be looking at using captains-in-training to deal with the staff shortage.

Italian pilots with Ryanair are taking industrial action today, while their Portuguese colleagues join the Irish pilots strike next Wednesday.
