Punk duo Slaves have a shared new video for their latest track ‘Chokehold’ and it features a plethora of famous names. The video is available to watch below…
Chokehold is taken from their third studio record ‘Acts of Fear and Love’ which is due for release on August 17th. It comes after the single ‘Cut and Run’ which was released last month.
The humorous video focus on rejection it tells the story of what happens to drummer Isaac Holman after the success of ‘Cut & Run’ dance. As a result of the dance’s success Holman leaves the band to pursue his life-long dream of being an international dance sensation.
This leaves the other half of Slaves, Laurie Vincent, on his todd and left to audition drummers. It’s quite the list of wannabe Slaves drummers! The wishful drummers hoping for a spot in the band include Royal Blood’s Ben Thatcher, Joel Amey from Wolf Alice, Peace’s Dom Boyce, The Maccabees’ Sam Doyle, Amber Grimbergen from HINDS and even Blur legend Dave Rowntree.
As well as this, Laurie auditions the Phil Collins drum playing Gorilla from the Dairy Milk advert, a Slipknot lookalike and Kiss lookalike!
