It looks like we’ll get a few more days of summer this week.
Tuesday and Wednesday will bring plenty of sunshine with temperatures reaching 20 degrees in parts.
Met Eireann Forecaster John Eagleton says the warm spell will be short lived.
“What’s happening is the high pressure is settling over Ireland and any frontal activity through Ireland is very weak – we have a warm front coming up tomorrow – that’ll bring the the warmer temperatures – that we experience Tuesday and Wednesday. Then we have a cold front coming down later on Thursday and we’ll see crisper, drier air across the country for the second half of the week.”
