The 17th volume of this long running series will focus on an album, which was released in 1997, celebrating it’s 25th anniversary.

Along with announcement, Bob Dylan also released an outtake from the track ‘Love Sick’. The video also includes some handwritten lyrics. Check that out below.

‘Time Out Of Mind’

Arriving in 1997, ‘Time Out Of Your Mind’ was Bob Dylan’s 30th studio album. The record also earned a first album of the year at the Grammy Awards for the singer in 1998.

Arriving next year (January 27), the box set ‘Fragments – Time Out Of Mind Sessions (1996-1997)’ will include unreleased recordings such as demos, outtakes, live cuts, alternate versions, along with a remixed version of the album itself.

This album will also be available physically in both a 10-LP and 5-CD format.

Along with ‘Love Sick’, other rarities from the collection also include ‘Marchin To The City’, ‘Red River Shore’, ‘Dreamin Of You’, and ‘Mississippi’.

The fourth disc from this collection also features songs, which were recorded from concerts that Bob Dylan performed between 1998 and 2001.

‘Standing In The Doorway’, ‘Not Dark Yet’, ‘Love Sick’, and ‘Tryin To Get To Heaven’ are taken from UK Shows.

‘Can’t Wait’, and ‘Cold Irons Bound’ were lifted from the same gig in Oslo, Norway. Other shows recorded also include New Jersey, Tennessee, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Newcastle Austrailia, and Washinton DC. Get the tracklist in full here.

This latest Bootleg Series edition is a follow up from last year’s edition ‘The Bootleg Series Vol. 16: Springtime in New York 1980–1985’.

News regarding this special album edition comes after it was also confirmed that some love letters written by Bob Dylan in his youth were to go under the hammer.
