Bruce Springsteen thrilled Australian fans at the weekend by opening his Perth gig with his rendition of “Highway To Hell” by the legendary AC/AD.
Springsteen chose to honor Bon Scott, who grew up near Perth in Fremantle, Western Australia, with the title cut to the last album Scott recorded before his untimely death in 1980.
Springsteen launched his 2014 “High Hopes” world tour with four shows in South Africa last month; his current Australian tour runs to February 26 before he plays two dates in New Zealand in early March.
