Florence and the Machine are the latest act to record a session as part of Spotify’s Singles series. The band’s two-song offering features a Tori Amos cover and a selection taken from their most recent record, High as Hope. You can listen to the full Spotify session below.

Singer Florence Welch’s vocals have often been compared to that of Amos in the past. The band’s decision to cover Tori Amos has been a long time on the cards. Welch and the machine opted for “Cornflake Girl”, which originally featured on Amos’ 1994 full-length record, Under the Pink.  The ban also recorded a live rendition of “Hunger”, an early single from High as Hope.

Florence and the Machine previously covered Drake, Ben E. King, and last July, Fleetwood Mac. The group is currently touring North America.
