Rolling Stones' Keith Richards sat down with Rolling Stone magazine to speak about the late great Chuck Berry, and that time Berry punched him in the face ... When legendary guitarist Chuck Berry passed away last month, major recording artists old and young expressed their grief and cited the rock music legend as a leading influence to their own sound. Bands such as Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Roots and Sting paid tribute to the late rocker through music covering his 1958 classic, ‘Johnny be Goode’. Richards shared a touching tribute to the late musician calling him "the granddaddy of us all" but also spoke about that one time when Berry gave him a shiner!

When the late Chuck Berry passed away recently, major recording artists old and young expressed their grief and cited the rock music legend as a leading influence to their own sound. Bands such as Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Roots and Sting paid tribute to the late rocker through music. And the song they all chose to cover was the 1958 classic, ‘Johnny be Goode’. Perhaps Berry’s most famous track, ‘Johnny B Goode’ has been covered by many artists over the years, including The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and Judas Priest.

Steve Tyler & co. are gearing up for Aerosmith’s Aero-Vederci Baby Farewell Tour which despite the name may or may not be their last tour – according to guitarist Joe Perry. The tour will see them play shows across Europe this year, including a stop off here this summer. Check out the hilarious tour announcement video starring Tyler and Perry here. They’ve been doing a lot of publicity for Aero-Vederci Baby recently. Drummer Joe Krammer was very vocal last month about his views on how Aerosmith measured up against the Rolling Stone. Now it’s lead guitarist Joe Perry’s turn to give us the goss. In a recent interview with AZ Central, Perry opened up about the upcoming tour; not being ready to say goodbye and postponing the North American leg of their tour to work on new music!
