Tesla Look To Introduce ‘Doggy Mode’ In Its Cars

Tesla is seeking to introduce a ‘dog mode’ in its cars which would allow drivers to leave their pets unattended in the car.

‘Dog mode’ would cool the interiors if there are pets inside and would let passersby know that the dog is doing fine.

The idea was suggested by a Tesla owner, who tweeted Elon Musk asking if the cars could be equipped to leave dogs inside.

As Mashable points out, dog mode might be some while off in Tesla’s production line. Bear in mind this is just a tweet from Musk. Definitely not a formal feature announcement! It does, however, demonstrate that electric cars are capable of keeping pets safe in hot weather. This is something that will become more commonplace as more of them come to the market.
