EU Announces Plans For ‘Digital Certs’ To Allow Travel This Summer

An iconic beach in Thailand will stay closed for two years because too many tourists have been visiting it.

Maya Bay was made famous in The Beach film, starring Leonardo Di Caprio, which came out in 2000.

Last year, up to 5,000 people were visiting it a day – leading to most of the coral there dying.

Authorities closed the beach temporarily in June, but have now confirmed it’ll stay shut until 2021 to help it recover.
