Laura Whitmore took over the reins from Caroline Flack in January 2020 and returns once again to host the summer series for the first time.
Speaking to the Independent ahead of the launch Laura said she’s most excited about the first day of filming.
Why? Because she gets to, “meet all the islanders the way everyone else meets” them.
The pandemic may have stopped the summer series last year, but the production is taking extra precautions and most of the crew running the show will be based in the UK.
The cast arrived on the Balearic island this month to quarantine, even bagging their own chaperone to ensure social distancing…for the time being… but not for long hopefully!!!!
The show kicks off tonight at 9 pm on Virgin Media One in Ireland. It’s expected the show will air every day except Saturdays for the next eight weeks.
