The Wolfe Tones have announced that their final ever Irish show will take place next Summer.

Taking place in Limerick’s Thomond Park on 13 July next year, the band have called it a “final farewell and goodbye to all our friends”.

Tickets for this show will go up on sale next Monday (28 October) at 8am via Ticketmaster, and are priced at €49.90 and €59.90.

The Wolfe Tones announced this news on their official Instagram account. Check that out here.

“completely overwhelmed”

News of this show comes months after The Wolfe Tones performed at the main stage at Electric Picnic 2024, which broke a record for the largest ever crowd recorded.

They were also joined on stage by Double Olympic winner Kellie Harrington on stage. Find out more here.

The band also sold out three shows at Dublin’s 3Arena, and Belfast’s SSE Arena. They also sold out shows in Cork, Galway, Kerry, Wexford, Donegal and Mayo.

Reflecting on the outpouring of love from their fans, Wolfe Tones’ Brian Warfield had this to say.

“We have been completely overwhelmed by the reaction to the recent shows at the 3Arena, Dublin, and SSE Arena, Belfast!  All shows sold out very fast and we know that a lot of people were left disappointed they could not see The Wolfe Tones for one last time.  We are truly humbled, and the demand to see the group in a major outdoor setting for a final time has been immense”, he said.

He also added: “We are therefore delighted to have the opportunity to perform in a major stadium concert at the famed Thomond Park on Sunday, 13th July 2025.  It will be the final farewell and goodbye to all our friends, so let’s do it in true Limerick style!”.

The Wolfe Tones had announced plans to retire last year, bringing an end to their 60 year career. More on this here.
