Stay Classy this festival season and you could land yourself a date. Tinder has just launched a new feature for their dating app entitled Festival Mode!
As the name suggests, the new option will allow users to include a badge on their profile. The badge will inform swipers which festivals they’ll be at with a view to hooking up.
So far, 12 festivals in both the US and the UK have signed up. They include All Points East, Hangout, Governors Ball and Bonnaroo.
Each event will open on the app three weeks in advance and will also show matches outside of the Tinder user’s location preferences. The dating company says that downloads of their app increase during festival time.
CoS reports that at Bonnaroo, Tinder saw activity on their app went up 300 times the normal rate. So now staying clean at a festival is of even more importance!.
Or you could just throw caution to the wind and go au naturel. If they still like you then you’re onto a winner!
