Townlands Carnival, the three-day music and arts festival is back for its fourth year this weekend and runs from Friday 20th until Sunday 22nd in Macroom, Co. Cork.

Organisers have revealed stage times for the gig which features rock, reggae and folk as well as electronic acts and DJs. Music lovers can expect an eclectic mix with the likes of Stanton Warriors, Rí-Rá, Bantum, Katie Kim, Orchid Collective, Ghetto Funk All-Stars, Altern8 among many more.

The Big Bubbles Family Area is perfect for children – with a play area featuring giant wooden games, hammocks, face-painting, hula-hoop workshops, arts & crafts and a kiddie’s disco. Great news for parents too as it’s free for under-12s.

With the variety of musical genres combined with a real carnival atmosphere and wellness area – this Townlands is on our list for one of the most unique festival experiences this summer.
