Two People Arrested In Dublin Over Kerry Money Laundering

Two more people have been arrested as part of an investigation into money laundering in County Kerry. Last Thursday, three people were taken in for questioning by the Criminal Assets Bureau in Killarney.

Gardai say two more arrests made in the Clondalkin area of Dublin today are directly linked to the operation. Three more people in Killarney were arrested last Thursday involved with the money laundering investigation.

According to the Mirror,a Kerry CAB spokesperson said:

“Following three arrests made on the 15th of November 2018 in Killarney as part of a Criminal Assets Bureau/Kerry Division Money Laundering Operation a further two related arrests have been made this morning in Clondalkin, and are detained in Clondalkin Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.”

The Dublin arrests are linked directly to the Kerry operation,

Both arrests are made as part of ongoing criminal activities in the Killarney area and are linked directly to an operation conducted in the Kerry Division on the 15th of November 2018. Developments will be reported.”
