Two Taken To Hospital After Multi-Car Collision On N7

Emergency services have attended the scene of a multi-car collision on the N7 earlier this morning.

The crash, near the Poitín Still pub and restaurant at Rathcoole, happened at roughly 9.05am on the main route to the south and southeast of the country.

It is reported that four vehicles were involved in the collision on the motorway on the northbound lanes.

A number of gardaí, two fire units and three ambulances attended the crash site where heavy rain was falling.

Two people were rushed  to Tallaght University Hospital as a precaution. The road has since reopened.
