Pearl Jam had to cancel their second show at the O2 Arena in London on Tuesday, June 19th because singer Eddie Vedder was losing his voice!
Posting on Twitter, Pearl Jam said: “Singer Eddie Vedder has completely lost his voice. He is on vocal rest for the next few days in an effort to heal and perform the remainder of the tour dates. It’s the first time ever having to postpone a show for this reason. Ed and the band are gutted thinking of all the folks who have travelled and made plans.”
Attention London: Tonight’s show at The O2 has been postponed. Rescheduled date is TBD. Our biggest apologies and thank you for your understanding. #PJLIVE2018 pic.twitter.com/MLBrE5aRZ8

However, according to Pearl Jam enthusiast dimitrispearljam, the signs are all good for the rest of the scheduled European tour. Posting on the Ten Club forums he said: “News from Italy are [sic] good, Milan here I come tomorrow.”
dimitrispearljam has shared several news stories about Pearl Jam in the past, as well as major tour news. Even though this is not an official statement, it is definitely a positive report for fans worried about Eddie Vedder’s voice and the remainder of the tour.
