It was all square in the French open Final between Simona Halep and Sloane Stephens. They both took a set each in Paris. Stephens looked comfortable as she took the opening set 6-3.
However, Halep showed determination to level the game claiming the second set 6-4 and securing the final set 6-1 in her first Grand Slam victory.
Good things come to those who wait. @Simona_Halep earns her maiden Major title 3-6 6-4 6-1 over Sloane Stephens.
