Dolce and Gabbana’s co-founders have posted a video asking China for forgiveness after its latest ad campaign – and leaked messages about it. The advert and the apology clips are both below.
The clip of a Chinese woman struggling to eat Italian food with chopsticks has been criticised as patronising by some shoppers.
The blunder was made worse after private messages from designer Stefano Gabbana emerged – which called the country “dirty” and “ignorant”.
