Jimmy Fallon and Sting treated The Tonight audience to a bizarre act, the duo did a crazy spin of the hit single “Walking on the Moon” on last Friday night’s show.
The track is lifted from The Police’s second album. Reggatta de Blanc and video is streaming below.
This version was named “Two Stings on the Moon”, the former Police frontman joined Fallon and they both appeared wearing astronaut suits. Fallon even went as far as to don a silver wig and sang all things spacey, while floating around hanging from a wired harness.
Not exactly similar to the parody that Fallon did of Dead or Alive with Paul Rudd on the same night, but as funny, this ludicrous offer was just as entertaining with his cohort Sting. Check it out below!
After the moonwalk, Sting returned to business and gave the audience a performance of a reworked familiar Police hit “Demolition Man”.
The song is just one of 17 tracks listed on his upcoming album My Songs. This classic review of his previous hits is due out May 24th.
