Video: Members Of Pearl Jam Reunite For Mother Love Bone Concert

Mother Love Bone’s remaining members, including Pearl Jam’s Jeff Ament and Stone Gossard, reunited for an emotional concert on Saturday night, May 5th in Seattle at the Neptune Theater. That was for the SMASH Benefit show celebrating the music of late Mother Love Bone singer, Andy Wood. SMASH is a charity to grant Seattle Musicians Access to Sustainable Healthcare.

According to PearlJamOnline only Mother Love Bone covers were played at the concert and several local musicians were also involved. All members of Mother Love Bone re-formed for the first encore, eight years since the last time they played together. The line up was Jeff Ament on bass, Stone Gossard and Bruce Fairweather on guitars, and Greg Gilmore on drums, who alongside Ohm Johari and Shawn Smith played a set of four songs.

The show concluded with the notes of Argent’s cover, Hold Yr Head Up, played by all the musicians involved in the evening. The setlist for the evening went as follows,  Heartshine, Mindshaker Meltdown, Capricorn Sister, Gentle Groove, Holy Roller, This Is Shangrilla, Thru Fade Away, How to Bite The Apple, Chloe Dancer / Crown of Thorns.
