Vin Diesel Revealed That Cristiano Ronaldo Will Feature In Final Fast And Furious Film

Vin Diesel has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo will have a role in the final Fast and Furious film.

The movie franchise is preparing their 11th and final film as Vin Diesel is teasing the appearance of well known Portuguese footballer.

Vin Diesel posted a photograph of the pair to Instagram, the caption wrote, "Everyone asked would he be in the Fast mythology...I gotta tell you he is a real one. We wrote a role for him... @cristiano."

The news comes after reports stating that the new film was up in the air. According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, they claimed that the script has yet to be completed and that Unviersal studio is asking for a smaller budget. Such ideas for a smaller budget include, reduced or cut roles and a local setting for filming.

Vin Diesel responded to the rumours of the cancellation of the final film. In an Instagram post back in October, he posed alongside co-star Michelle Rodriguez with the caption “I have often said… Creativity is the key to all things. When you maintain the integrity, the rest follows. #happycreativesunday."

Another post saw the pair smiling with a caption that addressed the future of the franchise. “Just wrapped an incredible day filming with my ride-or-die about the future of Fast…,” he began, stating that the pair had discussed the journey they had been on over the years.

“She’s seen it all. Multiple studio owners, countless executives coming and going, different visions and different voices trying to steer this ship. But through every corporate change, every boardroom shuffle, every new regime, one thing has never wavered… the connection between the Fast family and fans around the world!”  Vin Diesel wrote.

“After listening to her, something became crystal clear… she will always be Letty. That authenticity, that connection to something real, it’s bigger than corporate structures and development cycles. It’s what matters most. That bond? That’s unbreakable. That’s what transcends business decisions and bottom lines," he continued.

Vin Diesel addressed the fans that have been waiting for updates on the new film, “what we’re building next is going to honor all that you love about Fast while taking you somewhere you’ve never been before”, adding: “Because no matter who’s writing the checks, this family answers to you… Stay tuned. #FastFamily #Family #NeverGiveUp.”
