Alex Turner and Miles Kane were spotted dancing together at The Stroke’s Hyde Park gig last night. A video of the two emerged online yesterday of the two dancing and singing along to The Strokes ‘Barely Legal’.
The song is from The Strokes debut album Is This It and was the second song of an 18- song setlist. The set was a mix of songs from each of the bands five albums. The band didn’t reveal any new material at the gig, seen as they all have other solo projects that they’re working on at the moment.
Turner and Kane weren’t the only stars at the event with Coldplay,Gwyneth Paltrow, Queen’s Roger Taylor, Alexa Chung, Roman Abramovich, Fearne Cotton and Foo Fighter’s Taylor Hawkins all said to have been in attendance.
The pair were noticed in the crowd by a fan who tweeted out when spotting them (excuse the caps) “HOW THE F**K CAN YOU CONCENTRATE ON THE STROKES WHEN ALEX TURNER AND MILES KANE ARE DANCING NEXT TO YOU?????”.
After headling Hyde Park, it remains to be seen what’s next for The Strokes with guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. recently saying it could be our “last show”. Even though they all seem to have their own side projects , Casblancas recently stated the band are working on new music back in April.
