Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi were among the famous faces taking part in a virtual benefit concert for New Jersey last night, after their home state was one of the hardest hit by Coronavirus.
Other famous New Jersey natives and residences that took part and encouraged people to donate and help fight Covid-19 included Danny DeVito, Tony Bennett and Whoopi Goldberg.
The concert which was broadcast online was opened up by Bruce Springsteen and his wife Patti Scialfa playing ‘Land of Home and Dreams’ which Springsteen wrote for the 1999 E Street Band reunion tour.
Towards the end of the broadcast Springsteen and his wife returned to play a cover of Tom Waits’ ‘Jersey Girl’.
