Florence and the Machine performed the passionate new track ‘Hunger’ on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Wednesday, June, 27th. The track is taken from the forthcoming album High as Hope, on Friday June 29th. The video of the mighty performance is available below…

On a stage adorned in a dusty pink cloth that offered the illusion of a blank space,  Florence Welch filled the space with every dash and twist across the boards. Florence then led a choreographed dance piece across the Cobert set.

On the song ‘Hunger,’ Welch deals with the themes of age, love and the unending desire for fulfilment, and she delivered the lyrics with a strong emotive vocal, ‘Oh, but you and all your vibrant youth/ How could anything bad ever happen to you?/ You make a fool of death with your beauty, and for a moment.’

Florence Welch recently revealed what her Tinder bio says. Speaking to The Guardian, the lead singer spoke openly in a candid chat about the issues in her personal life as well as what’s in her Tinder bio.
