The Pixies new video for ‘Um Chagga Lagga’ has been posted online.
‘Um Chagga Lagga’ comes from the band’s latest album, ‘Head Carrier’, which was released at the end of September. ‘Head Carrier’ is the follow up to ‘Indie Cindy’, which was released in 2014. It is the band’s first album with Paz Lenchantin as an official band member. You can watch the video for ‘Um Chagga Lagga’ below:
Meanwhile, The Pixies recently announced that their guitarist, Joey Santiago had entered a rehabilitation center for 30 days for alcohol and drug addiction.
A statement released for the band by their drummer, David Lovering said “This is the best thing that Joey could have done, and we’re very proud that he’s taken this step,” adding, “We ask all of our fans to support Joey while he’s on this road to recovery.”
It continues, “while the Pixies fully intend to tour the UK and Europe this November and December, Santiago’s time in rehab will affect some of the band’s planned promotional activities to support their new album”.
