Rare footage has emerged of Thom Yorke playing back in the 80’s with his band at the time Headless Chickens. The footage was supposedly taken in the late 1980’s at a gig in Exeter University’s Lemon Grove.

Thom Yorke played one of Radiohead’s earliest songs ‘High & Dry’ at the gig, which was said to have taken place during the college semester. The song starts out similar enough to the original with it’s memorable chorus, but eventually it speeds up which gives the song a different dynamic.

The video was unearthed by one Reddit user yesterday and the video quickly garnered a lot of attention, especially from Radiohead fans. Headless Chickens is Thom Yorke’s first band, yet they only played a handful of shows and released only one track titled ‘I Dont Want To Go To WoodStock’
