Shakira might have dropped a clue as to what track she will cover for next year’s Super Bowl halftime show.
The singer offered an indication of her rock credentials last week when she posted a lively acoustic cover of the Green Day 1994 pop-punk classic, ‘Basket Case’.
“Me, being a basket case with my producer…” the singer wrote with a one-minute clip in which she gives Green Day’s Dookie classic “Basket Case” the onceover.

The song was delivered on the poppier side of things as Shakira gets set to co-headline the massive gig with Jennifer Lopez at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, on Feb. 2.
