Weezer will be on a new episode The Simpsons.

According to a press release, in the episode, ‘The Hateful Eight Year-Olds’, the cartoon Weezer will portray a cover band called Sailor’s Delight. The band will “cover” music from the Black Album and Pacific Daydream, as well as a new Van Weezer song called “Blue Dream.”

This week Weezer also shared the new song “Hero” as a tribute to “the stay at home dreamers, the Zoom graduators, the sourdough bakers and the essential workers.”

The band also revealed that its new album Van Weezer has been delayed. A new release date is coming soon.

Weezer will hopefully bring ‘Van Weezer’ on the road in Summer when they perform as part of the Hella Mega Tour with Green Day and Fall Out Boy.
