Next year an event showcasing The Who’s classic album turned movie Quadrophenia will take place in London. The original lead in the film Phil Daniels will join up with the rest of the cast members to recreate the film.

The event will take place next year on February the 11th at London’s Eventim Apollo. The film will be screened in its entirety at the event and will also see the original cast members re-enact some of the key scenes from the movie.

Phil Daniels, whose performance as Pete Townshend’s disaffected Mod Jimmy set him on the road to stardom, will appear at a Q&A session with co-stars Toyah Willcox, Trevor Laird, Garry Cooper and Daniel Peacock after the screening.

A tribute band Who’s Who will also play a set on the night along with memorabilia including original Vespa scooters from the era. Tickets for the London show will go on sale this Friday November 6th directly from the venue itself.

The Who meanwhile are currently on their 50th anniversary tour which included a headline performance at Glastonbury earlier this year. The band will be playing in Philadelphia tonight (November 4th) as part of their tour  .
