Gardaí are currently investigating a potential arson attack that took place at a family home in Drogheda, Co Louth last night.
A woman in her 30s and her three young children managed to escape through a bedroom window uninjured.
Drogheda fire services were alerted by local residents to the scene at St Laurence’s Park at approximately 9.40pm
The family was assessed by ambulance services at the scene and did not require any further medical treatment.
An investigation is currently under way and the scene has been preserved for a forensic examination.
